| Brief Profile | A Consultant Engineer with approximately 35 years experience in engineering and health and safety matters. Employment experience as Chief Engineer, Technical Director, Managing Director and one of H M Inspectors of Mechanical Engineering in the HSE. He has been a practising expert witness since 1991. Prepared over 900 reports and given evidence in Magistrate's, County, High and Crown Courts, Queen's Bench Division, the Technology and Construction and Commercial Courts - London. Considerable experience in large group actions and multi-million pound commercial claims. Experienced in detailed forensic investigation of accidents and engineering failures, especially head injury cases. Also given evidence in most of the current lead VWF action cases and a recent high profile prosecution of a headmaster in an asbestos exposure case. He also has wide experience in the mining, rail and amusement ride industry. Extensive research of asbestos documentation dates of knowledge and application to industry. |
